Alfred E. EDWARDS
Alfred E. EDWARDS was born about 1791 in
Virginia and died 10 May 1873 in Elmore County, Alabama. His
father's name was Richard EDWARDS. About 1813, Alfred married
Mary (Polly) __________, in South Carolina. She was born circa
1780/1790 in North Carolina. Her place of death may have been
Cherokee County, Georgia. Alfred E. EDWARDS married 2nd) Ann
EVANS.
Another Edwards researcher has recently advised that the name
of Alfred Edward's first wife was ______ SLAY, daughter of
Thomas Slay and Sarah Parker. Since I have not personally
researched either of those possibilities, I am posting both
theories in order to provide as much information for further
research as possible.
Alfred and Mary Edwards had three children:
